Godlike is for players who'll take whatever discount is live and run mostly-on — the entry price is genuinely cheap under the current promo, the hardware is modern, and backups run up to three times a day for free.

TrueTick is for players who want a price with no promo timer attached to it, and who'd rather pay for the hours actually played than for a slot sitting empty.

Where Godlike is the right call

• You'll take whatever discount is running. Godlike's pricing page shows a rotating discount off the regular rate — the Double 2 GB tier ran at €5.03/mo against a €6.29/mo regular rate when we checked, a low bar to clear.
• Modern hardware, real backups. Ryzen hardware, SSD storage, and up to three backups a day for free — that's a genuinely solid base, not a marketing line.
• Your server runs mostly-on. If it's rarely empty, a flat per-slot price under a discount is hard to beat, and there are plenty of tiers to pick from as you grow.

If you'll take whatever discount is running and keep the server mostly-on, this is a fair, cheap pick.

Where it hits a ceiling

• The price you see is a rotating promo, not a stable rate. Godlike's pricing page showed two different discounts on the same tier within hours of each other during our check — the €6.29/mo regular rate on the Double 2 GB tier is the more stable number to plan around.
• Flat means you pay for idle. The model is flat per slot — a server sitting empty overnight costs the same as one full on Friday night. There's no scale-to-zero.
• No per-server tick number. The pricing page doesn't surface TPS or MSPT for your instance, so when the server lags you're guessing, not reading a number.

Verdict

If you'll take whatever discount is running and keep the server mostly-on, Godlike is cheap and the hardware and backups back it up — take it, and we'd rather say so than pretend otherwise.

If you want a price with no promo timer, or you'd rather pay for the hours played than for an empty slot — check the maths for your server or create one and watch the tick line yourself.
